APRIL OBSESSIONS
April was such a GREAT MONTH. It just feels like this year is already flying by! We celebrated our anniversary, had great date nights, events, church…life has been busy! As always, I have rounded up some of my April favorites & I cannot wait to tell you about them!
SHOES GALORE! These are some of my favorites – from Target, DSW & Nordstrom and all different price ranges! I am currently loving the Steve Madden platform sneakers and the Treasure & Bond Espadrille Wedges! Both are incredibly comfortable! I am still eyeing a few more of these, but I am always on the hunt for sales too! Click on the collage the the links!

*Marc Fisher shoes are a bit pricey, but in my honest opinion, they are SO worth it! They are incredibly comfortable, and I never find myself having blisters from these shoes! They are high quality!!
True Food Kitchen – OK, I am in no way a food blogger, but I am really loving True Food Kitchen. This month, we ate there 4 times! Oops. I have been trying to eat healthier, and this restaurant offers organic, gluten free and DELICIOUS options for salads, veggies, and entrees (my personal favorite is the Spaghetti Squash Casserole!). They do not offer sodas, but only organic & all-natural drinks, food and dessert including flourless cake!! YUM. Click here for more info!
Eat Smart Sweets – My friend Nicole recommended this to me, and I have found my new favorite “sweet” snack! These only have 3 grams of sugar, 28g of Fiber, & 80 calories in a pack! TOTALLY WORTH IT! I am trying to do low sugar with everything, and this has hit the spot. I could definitely eat 5 bags, but I am trying this thing called “self-control,” and it seems to be working most of the time! Happily Ever After Parties – I have not mentioned this before, but I work for Happily Ever After Parties as a princess! I do princess parties from time to time and dress up as Elsa, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Mary Poppins, Anna, and most recently, a rainbow unicorn! I have been doing this off and on for years, and it’s a lot of fun getting to play dress up, sing, face paint and balloon animals at parties! If you would like more info, check it out here.
Taylor Swift – ME! I am LOVING her new song. This girl is not only an icon, she is a GENUIS. The way that everything has been marketed from the numbering, hints, lyrics…this girl KNOWS what she is doing, and I can’t help but have respect for that! I am always intrigued to see what she will do next, because when you think she has done it all, she goes above and beyond the next time!
Spring Dresses/Amazon Finds! – I guess you could say I am a dress girl! There are so many cute dresses out right now for spring and summer, and it has been hard not to buy them all! These are a few of my favorites!! And, I do love a good Amazon find!! For links to all of these, click here!
Next up is the KAABOO Festival May 10-12! I am so excited – the lineup is crazy! Little Big Town, Sting, Ludacris…just to name a few! I will be doing some princess parties, blogger events and gearing up to start rehearsal for a show I am in this summer! I will be playing the role of Gloria in the play, Boeing – Boeing, this July at Mainstage Irving-Las Colinas! It will be the first time I will be back onstage for a show in almost a year and I am excited! Max is about to open The Island of the Skog at Dallas Children’s Theater, running Friday, May 3rd through the end of May! For more information on that, click here!
